It was a great honor to be invited to speak and perform at the 5th International Poznan SaxEvent held at the Academy of Music in Poznan, Poland. There were so many excellent students and a number of outstanding faculty/presenters – classical and jazz. I was most pleased to have so many joining me for my talk on the various styles of saxophone performance, the Similarities and Differences between Classical and Jazz Saxophone. I want to thank Magdalena Jakubska-Szymiec, a longtime friend, for inviting me. It was a very memorable experience.
