Join the Mike Tracy Jazz Quintet for two October outdoor jazz festivals.

The annual Highland-Douglass Neighborhood Big Rock Jazz Fest will be held on Sunday, October 3. Festivities begin at 2:oo opening with the Steve Crew’s Black Cat Band (Dixieland). The Mike Tracy Quintet featuring pianist Renato Vasconcellos follows (approx. 3:30). Closing the music will be the Walnut Street Blues Band.

A new outdoor event beings this year – Fall for Jazz in Tyler Park on Sunday, October 10 with the Mike Tracy Quintet featuring Renato Vasconcellos from 6:00 to 8:00. The hope is for this initial event to develop into an annual fall concert series and is sponsored by the Tyler Park Neighborhood Association and the Louisville Jazz Society.

The Mike Tracy Quintet features pianist Renato Vasconcellos, guitarist Craig Wagner, bassist Doug Elmore and drummer Mike Hyman. Join us for these two free events.
