Georgia has been an active host of music festivals for the past few years. Kavkaz Jazz Festival is one of the outstanding festivals. The advantage of this event is that it unites the countries of the Caucasus in one musical space. Elena Mechitova’s project took off a few years ago, while the mentioned festival was viewed with suspicion and wondered whether it would be successful or not. However, today no one doubts its existence and Kavkaz Jazz Festival 2016 was opened on June 8.
